<P>Tampa, Florida, May. 06 (CWNews.com) - A Florida judge ruled on Thursday that a law passed to protect Terry Schindler-Schiavo, who is in a coma, from being starved to death is unconstitutional. Gov. Jeb Bush's administration said it would file an immediate appeal.

<P>Pinellas Circuit Court Judge W. Douglas Baird overturned the law passed last October in a special session of the Florida Legislature, days after Schiavo was disconnected from a food-and-water tube by her husband's order. Terri's parents have been fighting her husband, Michael, for years to prevent him from having her starved to death. The tube will remain in place while the appeal is filed. </P></DIV><BR><BR><DIV>
