ALERT: Two weeks from this Friday, Terri Schindler-Schiavo is scheduled to be STARVED to DEATH, just because she's severely handicapped and can't defend herself from her estranged "husband's" desire to see her dead.

Time is running out, and we need to pull out all the stops to save this poor victim of judicial tyrants. Thankfully, there are those in Washington, D.C. who have the guts to step up to the plate and take ACTION on behalf of Terri and others like her.

Rep. David Weldon (R-FL) is going to introduce the "Incapacitated Person's Legal Protection Act" (Terri's Law) which would give Terri and others in similar situations the same constitutional protection of due process as death row inmates now receive -- protections guaranteed by the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Terri's not a criminal, but Rep. Weldon's legislation would allow Terri to have a right that's already given to any criminal in America -- the right to have her own counsel who can argue her case.

We have to move FAST on this bill. If Terri's feeding tubes are removed in two weeks, she will SLOWLY DIE from starvation, which can take anywhere from 7 to 30 days.

This is America. We CAN'T let this happen.

TAKE ACTION: Terri is NOT brain dead; Terri is NOT in a coma; she is NOT in a "persistent vegetative state;" nor is she on ANY life-support system. Terri laughs, Terri cries, she moves, and she makes child-like attempts at speech with her parents. Sometimes she will say "Mom" or "Dad" or "yeah" when they ask her a question. When they kiss her hello or goodbye, she looks at them and "puckers up" her lips.

We MUST save Terri's life, before her "husband" (who is living with another woman and their children) has her killed by starvation. To avoid the danger that an innocent person might be put to death, those whom state courts have convicted of mass murder or other capital crimes have long had the recognized 14th Amendment right to federal court "habeas corpus" review. If we accord that right to someone like John Wayne Gacy or Ted Bundy, shouldn't we give at least equal protection to someone with a disability, charged with no crime, who is at risk of being starved and dehydrated to death?

Under the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, "No State... shall deprive any person of life... without due process of law... nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws." Section 5 of that Amendment empowers Congress "to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions" of the Amendment. CLICK BELOW NOW to send a FREE message to your Congressman and Senators, asking them to support Rep. Weldon's bill, the "Incapacitated Person's Legal Protection Act" (Terri's Law):
