it was found by accident that is caused pain, they say it kinda feels like
getting burned with out the physiological affects of being burned, the thought
was hey this could be safer then stun guns now being used and would work against
crowds, I think what is REALLY being MISSED is THE WISE PART, the whole intent
was to control with out killing, and WHEN would it be necessary,
there is always a disagreement on how to handle crowds and when are they out of
hand, I am just glad I do not have to make these kind of decisions.</FONT></DIV>

a great idea rather then places like Washington Dc being burned down in a riot
or LA, it just needs to be used wisely, that part I am not certain of, however
it would be better then being killed?

a bout of excruciating pain from up to 2 kilometres away. Intended for use
against rioters, it is meant to leave victims unharmed. But pain researchers are
furious that work aimed at controlling pain has been used to develop a weapon.
And they fear that the technology will be used for torture.
