James

There is a very lively debate on jewsforjesus.org forums on
Roman
Catholocism. Most interesting to me was that quite a few
people would
rather excise James from the Canon rather than admit that the
Catholic/James
usage of 'justification' and 'faith' is just as Scriptural
as the Pauline
usage. One of the threads is titled "The Gospel of
Christ vs. the Gospel
of James", the premise being that they are
incompatible.

This is progress, however. At least people
are realizing that the
Catholic wording is in the Bible. It's just a
matter of removing
that pesky book of James, as Luther saw from the
beginning.

--
Stuart D. Gathman
