<P>"a fairly serious breach of the rules" - that's like saying Hurricane Katrina was just a serious thunderstorm! My former communiity just plain does not get it. I doubt if much of the "leadership" would get it if the Almighty Himself wrote in the sky with skywriting "Thou shalt not encourage illicit sex and Thou shalt not encourage, support, or perform "marriages" between to people of the same gender."</P>
<P>C.S. Lewis, may he be blessed, is rolling in his grave to see what his community became. Oddly, he was warning about these things and their effects some 50 to 70 years ago.</P>

<P>London, Jun. 16, 2008 (CWNews.com) - The worldwide Anglican communion, already severely strained by disputes over homosexuality, has been tested again by revelations that two English clerics exchanged vows in a church ceremony in May.

<P>The two Anglican priests, Peter Cowell and David Lord, defied their bishop by conducting the ceremony in St. Bartholomew's church in London. In an official comment on the event, the Church of England said that the ceremony involved "a fairly serious breach of the rules." </P></FONT>
