Catholic leader says "the abortion industry is
dancing in celebration" over the defeat in the
Senate of a pro-life amendment. </SPAN>The
vote was 54-45 to table (kill) the
amendment.<BR><SPAN
style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold"><BR>Two Republicans
voted to kill the pro-life amendment, while seven
Democrats voted against it. </SPAN>Every
other GOP senator supported the amendment and
every other Democrat opposed it.<SPAN
style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold"><BR><BR>If the seven
Democrats oppose Obamacare without a pro-life
amendment, the bill cannot pass. </SPAN>But
most--if not all--of the "pro-life" Democrats are
expected to vote for Obamacare with its federal
funding of abortion.</FONT><BR></FONT><BR></DIV>
