Given the utter lack of historical input in the fantasy, I think
ridicule would be much more effective.

I just read a Sci-fi book where it turns out that "prayer" used to work
for humans because of an alien machine ("The Trilisk AI") that could
read minds and create needed objects that were requested in enough
detail. The machine eventually broke down, but the myth lived on.

That is one writers fantasy, of course, as is the "Testament of Mary"
fantasy. The Sci-fi story is actually more plausible because it
deals
with pre-history, whereas the "Testament" fantasy contradicts extent
historical evidence.
_______________________________________________
Apologetics mailing list
Apologetics@gathman.org
http://bmsi.com/mailman/listinfo/apologetics
