First, Phil Lawler explains that, as far as the Synod goes, those who wish to <strong>change the Faith</strong> have lost: <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.catholicculture.org/commentary/the-city-gates.cfm?id=1176">The Synod's liberal cabal in damage-control mode</a>. <div id="yui_3_16_0_1_1445654575875_19389">
Of course, <strong>I did tell everyone</strong> this would be the outcome back on October 6th <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.catholicculture.org/commentary/otc.cfm?id=1330">before it happened</a>, but I mentioned that in a previous message. This week I try to explain the important shift that has been taking place: <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.catholicculture.org/commentary/otc.cfm?id=1334">Indissolubility as liberation: From accommodation to evangelization on marriage</a>. </div><div id="yui_3_16_0_1_1445654575875_19387">
Thinking partly of the small number of <strong>self-proclaimed prophets</strong> of change at the Synod, I penned this brief reflection (with a little help): <a id="yui_3_16_0_1_1445654575875_19552" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.catholicculture.org/commentary/the-city-gates.cfm?id=1174">There's prophetic witness…and then there's not.</a> </div><div id="yui_3_16_0_1_1445654575875_19554">
More good news for the Church is that the severe “scholarly” <strong>separation of Scripture from faith</strong> and theology is at last coming to an end.
