Ezekiel 16:1-63: The Unfaithful Wife

16:14 "fame spread among the nations" - 1 Kings 10
16:24 "shrine"/"mound"/"brothel" - essentially a stage for ancient porn shows.
16:34 "the opposite of others" - normally, colonial powers pour money into vassal states.
16:49 "iniquity of Sodom" - the root causes of the abominations described in Gen 19.
16:55 "Sodom and Samaria restored" - God reiterates His plan to save Gentiles as well as Jews.
16:60 "remember my covenant" - God is not done with Israel
