Visions of the Kingdom: Week 22
Last time, God reviewed the rebellion of the sons of Josiah. Now, God
reviews the rebellion of Israel from Egypt to Caanan.
- 20:4 Whatever the elders asked was so presumptious, God responds
only by rehearsing their abominations.
- 20:8 No specific mention of the idols in Egypt, but the golden calf
incident, and that immediately following the 2nd commandment,
makes the implication plain.
