[Apologetics] Urgent Prayer Request

Dear Friends,

I have a most urgent prayer request. A very dear friend of mine, Kathy Santos, is at death’s door. She is 61yo and has Emphysema. Kathy’s daughter called me at 6:30am to tell me that they had almost lost her last night but she rallied.

Kathy, in her chronic illness, has been through bouts of anger at God and has been very despondent. She has been annointed by a priest and is right with God and the Church. She is frightened and is fighting to stay as long as she can. She made peace with one of her sons but the other one probably won’t come around.

I met Kathy in 1993 in Conyers, Georgia. I haven’t seen her since but we’ve had a very close relationship and have talked by phone at least every 2-3 weeks for the last eleven years.

Please join me in prayer for her family and for Kathy that she may be enveloped with Christ’s peace and will reach out with great joy to His loving, waiting arms.
