a) Every fraternity at GMU (where I graduated) that I heard about from
friends at GMU fellowship who converted/"got saved" at college
had similar rituals. For instance, Jack Greenfield's fraternity
required initiates to go to a cemetery at night, dig up a skull, light
a candle and place it inside the skull, and then drive a dagger
through a Bible by the candlelight. (This, of course, made him
worry about whether he was too far gone to be saved.)

Every Fraternity at any other secular university that I every heard
any details about had similar rituals.

This is why neither I nor any of my Christian friends ever joined any
   fraternities/sororities.

It seems that Satanic rituals were the "in thing" for fraternities
when we were in school. I haven't investigated, but I am assuming
that todays clubs and fraternities include some form of perverted orgy as
   well.

b) George Bush, at least, renounced all such evils of his past life
   following his conversion.

c) Since fraternity and weird occultic club membership is nearly universal -
especially at Ivy League schools - I can't see why having been a
member of such makes a secular university graduate stand out as
particularly evil. The unusual case would be someone who avoided
   such membership.

d) My sarcastic response was occasioned by my distain for argument by
innuendo. In its extreme form, the primary evidence supporting a
charge is the seriousness of the charge. In its more subtle form,
the primary evidence is certain facts which are presented as unusual
and unique to the subject of the charge, but which in fact are very
common, or even ubiquitous. For example, "Both Governor Bush and Cheney
once worked for a company that did business with the Saudi's". Ooooooh.
He must be in league with them! A certain popular movie documentary
contains nothing *but* argument by innuendo.

Remind me never to run for office, because my company has worked for
Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and United Arab Emirates. I have
even used the late King Hussein's palace bathroom. (Real gold towel
bars, toilet paper holders, and trim. Royal purple towels.)
