[Apologetics] RE: Book that may be of interest - Pope Thought End Times Near

Hey, I just see something that might be of interest and I pass it on.  Maybe by breaking with all his predecessors they meant the amount of traveling.  Didn't most Popes in history pretty much stay within the confines of the Vatican and the old Papal States?  Hey I just pass things on, I don't necessarily analyze them!

The ad for this book purports to reveal:

"Why John Paul II decided to break with all his
predecessors"

Break with ALL of his predecessors???  About WHAT???

If anyone buys this book (I won't), please fill the
rest of us in on what the author means and what is his
SOURCE of information.

Furthermore, if the Pope thought the end of the world
was near, I'm pretty sure he'd mention it in SOME of
his many writings and preachings. Not that he couldn't
be wrong on a privately held belief. But I doubt the
Pope believed this.

I'm waiting for the supermarket tabloids to make
sensational claims about the Pope. This books sounds
like it got the jump on them.
