The Bill O'Reilly show last night was very good. He had Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins on the show. When he asked Tim Lahaye about being anti-Catholic he did not deny it. As a matter of fact he indirectly confirmed it. In his reply he referred to the belief in purgatory and claimed it isn't "mentioned" in the Bible. (Well, he's right but the Trinity isn't mentioned in the Bible either but it still a tenet of Christianity because Sacred Scripture points to the reality of a Triune call and we call that the Trinity.) Then Bill called him on unbaptized infants, unbaptized people who live a good life, and the Church's belief in Baptism of Desire. Mr Lahaye wouldn't go so far as sending infants to hell but he didn't give unbaptized adults the same mercy. Bill called him on that too but didn't get anywhere.
