Perhaps many Protestants are discovering the hole in their hearts and Church family.  Every family needs a mother to be complete.  When many of the "reformers" threw out Mary, they left a big hole.  Time Magazine's staff probably has no clue about the Eastern Orthodox, but as we know, the Eastern Orthodox deeply love and treasure Mary.  In fact, some of their devotions to her are some of the most beautiful things written.

But then again, I've had a soft spot for Mary for quite some time!

I believe this issue of Time is no longer on the
newstands, but it should be easily available to read
or copy at virtually any library.

Interestingly, in an on-line poll, Time asked if the
Virgin Mary should be given greater emphasis in
Protestant theology.  The results at
