The article below is from the Buffalo News, the hometown newspaper of Donald Herbert, a firefighter who was severely brain damaged when the roof of a burning building collapsed on top of him.  Until Saturday, he had not spoken in nearly 10 years.
 
This dramatic and heartwarming story is the profound opposite of the court-ordered, torture killing of Terri Shiavo. Pray for Donald Herbert and his family.
