Here is the last statement from PGM on "How to get to Heaven":
4. Personally receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
"But as many as received him, to them gave he the power to become the sons
of God, even to them that believe on His name." (John 1:12)
No matter where you are, or the condition of your life, you need Jesus
Christ to be your Savior and Lord. You cannot effectively deal with
your sins any other way. Now is the time to come to Him. Pray to Him
right now saying something like this: Lord Jesus, I need You. I admit
that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died
for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. Please forgive me and come
into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as Lord and
Savior. In Jesus' name, Amen.
The key parts for a Catholic to notice are:
"I want to turn from my sins."
"I want to trust and follow You as Lord and Savior."
