[Apologetics] Additional Clarification From Jim on the Council of Trent

Attached is a message from Jim Murphy further
clarifying his views on the Council of Trent in
advance of our meeting with him.

"I do not oppose the Council of Trent.  I love the 
entire document.  I've read Session 6 at least 10 
times.  I love every word.  I believe everything 
the Council declared is without error.  Please 
remember that I disent on nothing.  I accept every 
single doctrine.  I accept every word that is 
uttered by the Pope.  In some areas where I might 
struggle, I study, study, study until I understand 
why the Church came down on a particular issue.  
I struggled on the issue of the death penalty.  
It took me years to understand. I do understand 
and accept what the Church teaches on that matter.

"So please don't send me e-mails saying that I 
oppose or disent from a Church teaching or Council.

"I intend to demonstrate that the Council failed 
in its mission.  Everything it declared was 
correct.  No errors, but failure none the less."

I'm really looking forward to our Apologetics Group
meeting.
