[Apologetics] From Bret - Info on Fr. O'Brien's replacement

Fr. Patrick Posey will be replacing Fr. O'Brien as pastor at St. James in Falls Church. The Arlington Catholic Herald's bio on him indicates he did his initial diaconate year in 1990-91 at St. Timothy; was Fr. O'Brien pastor of St. Timothy during that time?  

A friend of mine found the web site of Fr. Posey's current parish, St. Frances de Sales in Purcellville, VA:

A couple of things there disturbed me as well as my friend that found the link: 1) the charismatic tent-meeting stuff; 2) the whole labyrinth walk/labyrinth prayer stuff (how New Age! - GAG!).

Doesn't look too promising regarding Fr. O'Brien's replacement unless the other priests at St. James and the people at the parish itself can reign in the charistmatic/labyrinth stuff and make clear such things are not wanted at St. James. 

Art, you might want to pass the link and info to the priests on your information list and see if they can provide any information or insight.

I hope things will not start getting "interesting" at St. James starting in July.  "Interesting" like that stuff I don't need.
