I should have done this before I sent this off - I don't have the time to read it, but it looks good. I searched for the common anti-Catholic terms, and references to Catholicism, and there's nothing major. They don't even harp on about the Sabbath - this seems to be a defence of Christianity without other stuff mixed in. The anti-Catholic stuff is pretty much limited to acknowledgement that Christians sin, and all churches contain sinners (they do mention the examples of corruption, priests and abuse, but the book "Hitler's Pope" gets mentioned as an example in footnotes only. Where they could have done a bit of Catholic bashing, the text is limited to "Jesus' disciples were married, including Peter (see Matthew 8:14), who some claim was the first pope."

God bless,
Stephen

  Hi

The Adventist church in Australia has come out with a new book called The Da Vinci Decode. I have downloaded it, but I haven't read it yet, so I can't comment much ... except for being wary about the anti-Catholic elements it may contain.

http://adventistreview.org/article.php?id=536 is where the Adventist Review comments on it.

http://www.thedavincidecode.net/index.php?option=com_docman&task=cat_view&gid=16&Itemid=27 is where you can download the book as a PDF (or view it, which I didn't try.)

  God bless,
  Stephen
