[Apologetics] Seven in 10 Protestant Young Adults Quit Attending Church

I wish that could be true. I just finished reading an article that said
Catholics were virtually indistinguishable from mainstream (secular) thought
when it came to questions of faith and morals. I'm trying to find the
article now, but it said that the political candidates don't need to vie for
the "Catholic vote" because Catholics will vote the same way that
non-believing people will vote.

Worse, "evangelical" teens are statistically more likely
to be sexually immoral than their pagan peers. Google
on "evangelical teen sexual" for lots of articles.

On the other hand, IQ is highly correlated with self control,
for both illicit sex and drug use. Smart people don't do such stupid
things (except as a form of suicidal despair). Just a gut feeling,
but I think that all the "dumbing down" evangelical churches have
been doing in an effort to be "relevant" has come back to bite them.
