Hi

There's an icon of Mary and Jesus online being voted on against a condom - the context is t-shirt design companies. Voting ends tonight (I assume at midnight ending 3 Dec on some sort of USA timezone.)

The Russian Orthodox icon is shown at http://www.cafepress.com/shirteesnet/1223873
The condom shirt is shown at http://www.cafepress.com/burntees/663144

At the moment the votes are 47 to the icon, 54 to the condom.

I don't know how the competition works, but it doesn't appear to be very mainstream - mainly t-shirt people with blogs who are having an internal competition. And going through the previous rounds, I think each company has a new shirt for each round. This seems to be the finale.

If you're inclined to vote, the voting page is http://crjn.pollhost.com/ - you won't see the icon there; you'll need to look at it elsewhere.

God bless,
Stephen

Subject: My Mary & Jesus Icon Painting

Hello everyone!

About two years ago, my wife and I were married. As a gift for the
priest that married us, I painted an Icon of Mary & Jesus for him. He
was very grateful. It is the first Icon I had ever painted and as you
can tell it, is not perfect. But I am getting better! The link to my
painting is here:

http://www.shirtees.net/mary-greeting-sm.jpg

I had entered it into a design contest recently and it was in first
place for a few days, but the competing design (about condoms no less)
is actually winning over my painting. The voting ends tonite at
midnight.

Id like to send a message to the internet world that Mary & Jesus are
important, especially this time of the season. If you can please vote
for me and email any friends you might think would be interested in
voting for my painting, go to this link... http://crjn.pollhost.com/

Thanks for your time and your vote and I hope you have a Merry
Christmas!

Kindest Regards, David Andrzejak
