[Apologetics] The Latin Mass has been restored!

Hi
We omit the creed and the confiteor at our services, and communion is by the take and dip method - sometimes even the take and do your own dipping method with the chalice on the altar.
When I went home a few weeks back, the priest there advised that we wait for the new bishop - the current one will retire soon.
Will things actually change? Where I live, 99% of people do not have English as their primary language, and probably more than 50% cannot speak English at all. If I leave rural Africa, will I find urban Africa any different? The bishops conference may go along with the pope, but in my last city, there was no Latin Mass, period, unless you went to the SSPX chapel. I have seen our bishops do too much just to be politically expedient, that I don't really trust them much.
I can't help feeling negative about the whole thing. I saw a church in Johannesburg the other day with big red letters over the door saying "Holy Trinity Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church" ... if they can have their own liturgy here, why can't we have our historical one? Till now, as far as I am aware, no traditional Mass was available on a regular basis - it was restricted to certain funerals, individual cases. The Eastern liturgies I've been to have been beautiful.
I'm too young to have ever been to the old Mass, but I'd love to have one regularly available.

God bless,
Stephen
