One of the articles in Christianity Today by Baptist
minister David Gushee states that no one makes it to
Heaven without love of neighbor, charitable acts, and
obeying the commandments.
"Jesus never taught easy believism," Gushee writes.
Gushee points out that the so-called Sinner's Prayer
is a nice start but is, all by itself, insufficient
for salvation.
