He grabbed the attention of slashdotters by denouncing unethical behavior 
of large corporations.  You can even chime in if you get a free account. 
However, slashdotters do not like the Catholic Church in general (being 
addicted in large numbers to porn and immorality), and have a lot of false 
ideas about the Popes (e.g. took bribes from the Nazis...).
