CWNews: Vatican regrets Anglican synod vote
Art:
One of our headline stories yesterday, on the US bishops' rejection of the latest liturgical translations, left room for some misinterpretation. So we're running a revised and updated version of the story today. The key point-- which might not have come through clearly in yesterday's story-- is that the terms of the debate have changed, so that bishops who opposed ICEL translations in the 1990s are now likely to applaud them, and vice versa.
