Gay Anglican bishop forms civil union  

Manchester, Jun. 9, 2008 (CWNews.com) - An openly homosexual Anglican bishop joined his partner in a civil-union ceremony on June 8. 
 
Bishop Gene Robinson, who heads the Episcopal diocese of New Hampshire, made the legal contract with his longtime partner, Mark Andrew, in a civil ceremony, the diocese announced. That ceremony was followed by a "service of thanksgiving" in an Episcopal church.
