I have no idea if Obama was actually thinking that.  In fact, I kind of
doubt it since the Pols are just play-acting religion to get votes.  I
was just putting forward a plausible connection compatible with both
Christianity and (modern) Liberal thought - that most of those denouncing 
homosexual behaviour are guilty of fornication and adultery.

But that is still no reason for the state to reward one kind of
(medically costly to the state) sexual sin, just because those
decrying it are engaging in other (medically costly to the state)
sexual sins.
