Stuart,

Do you know if he has seen the Voter's Guide for Serious Catholics (English)? (http://www.caaction.com/pdf/Voters-Guide-Catholic-English-1p.pdf)

I am amazed at the number of Protestants who are ready to ditch James
along with Catholics because of not realizing the different uses of "faith":

My boss is Catholic, and he plans to vote for Obama. His justification
goes like this:

[this is my boss, not me ...]
Although McCain opposes abortion and Obama endorses them, McCain is not
going to be able to stop the million plus abortions. On the other hand,
hundreds of thousands have died in the *illegal* war in Iraq. Any
reduction in abortions by McCain is likely to be far less the innocent
lives saved by immediate and unconditional withdrawal from Iraq by Obama.

[I would have mentioned what happened in Vietnam, but wanted to get his
opinion without an argument. Also Obama's associations make me wonder
just how much of an aversion to violence he really has...]
