[Apologetics] The Pope's Meeting With Pelosi

Something I've wondered for a long time is why the respective Bishops have failed to exert their authority by telling these people, absolutely, NOT to receive Holy Communion until they PUBLICLY renounce their position on abortion.  Other US Bishops have affirmed that position.  Why can't these politicians' own Bishops man-up?

I am seriously considering writing Pelosi a letter as a Catholic layman to suggest she join the pro-abortion, pro-homosexual Episcopal Church.

Pelosi should feel very much "at home" with those people.

It is true that Anglicans lost apostolic succession when they rejected Holy Orders as a sacrament (see the 39 Articles).

However, since Pelosi REJECTS Catholic moral teachings, why would she ACCEPT Catholic pronouncemnts regarding the invalidity of Anglican orders?

Pelosi should be given the addresses of some Episcopal churches in Washington, D.C. and San Francisco.  If she refuses to voluntarily change religions, then she should be excommunicated.

The same with Joe Biden, John Kerry, and Ted Kennedy.

Good article, Art.  If I were the Pope and met with Miz Nanny Pelosi...............................let's just say that I'd excommunicate her wicked self so fast her pro-abortion head would spin!  I guess I'd make a bad Pope, because I would have no time or tolerance for the likes of Pelosi or these other rad-lib so-called "catholic" politicians who are "pro-choice."
Maybe that is why Ratzinger is Pope Benedict XVI and I'm not! :)

As you may know, I write three weekly Internet newsletters.  The one I do on Christian Values related to the Pope Benedict XVI's meeting with Speaker Nancy Pelosi.  It is at http://www.my60secondscoops.com/publications/id.102/pub_detail.asp

A list of the previous ones I've done on Christian Values is at
http://www.my60secondscoops.com/christians7/

I also do one on Seniors Benefits at http://www.my60secondscoops.com/seniors7/
and on Conservatives and the GOP at http://www.my60secondscoops.com/conservatives7/

My name is not on the newsletters, but they are my handiwork.  I stay VERY late at work each Wednesday night in order to write them.

It is possible the format of these newsletters may change in the near future and I will not write them, but for the time being I though you might like to see them.
