Dear Mr. Kelly,

Please note that the CatholicCulture.org web site experienced a malicious hacker attack Tuesday evening, shortly after I sent out the fund-raising and Insights messages.

No sensitive user information (which is encrypted) was compromised. But the site was rendered largely inoperable until we discovered the problem Wednesday morning, and then we had to take the site down for most of Wednesday to repair the damage done.

This was particularly harmful financially because most of those who attempted to respond to yesterday's financial appeal and my recent blog post (Trinity Communications: How We Operate; What Must Happen) were prevented from doing so.

If you wished to make a financial contribution, please help us overcome this setback by trying again to donate now.
