At least Bishop Loverde seemed to agree to continue the CCHD collection
somewhat reluctantly.  If CCHD does not make significant changes in its
operations, I think it is possible he might not permit these collections
in future years.

After "bishop" Loverde ok'ed "altar girls" a few years ago, the only
contributions I make are to my own Parish, St. James, and to the FSSP
and when I can, EWTN.  CCHD impressed me some years ago as being a
typical "liberal" "social justice" "catholic" organization, and anything
that even hints of episcopagan style or agenda will get no money from
me.
