A new Rasmussen poll shows voters trust Republicans more than Democrats
on 9 out of 10 key issues.  GOP is preferred on health care 53%--37%; on
abortion 47%--32%; on the economy 49%--37%; on taxes 52%--34%; by
similar margins on immigration, Social Security, Iraq, and national
security; and by a small margin on education.

Dick Morris says this indicates "a sweep of unimaginable proportions is
in the offing."  He predicts the GOP "will gain more than 50 House seats
and at least 10 in the Senate."

New Rasmussen polls for governor and senator show Republicans leading in
10 of 11 races.  The race for governor in Ohio is close and the
Democratic governor of Massachusetts leads in a 3-way race.

Benefits:

Five bills in the House have been introduced to repeal Obamacare.
Altogether, 57 sponsors and cosponsors have so far signed on to the
repeal legislation in the House, compared to 212 votes against the bill.

In the upper chamber, Senator Jim DeMint and 15 cosponsors have
introduced repeal legislation.  There were 39 votes against Obamacare in
the Senate.

Senator John McCain is not yet a cosponsor of the bill to repeal
Obamacare.  But he sent out a fundraising e-mail which said, "I assure
you that I am fighting each and every day to repeal this bill in order
to get our country back on the right course."

Public opinion has remained consistent over the last 3 weeks with 54% of
voters wanting to repeal the new law.  Seniors think Obamacare is bad
for the country by a margin of 58% to 30%.

Values:

Liberals may be on the verge of passing in the Employment
Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), to make it unlawful for an employer to
refuse to hire anyone because of their actual or perceived sexual
orientation.  This bill appears to be the next big thing on the Left's
agenda.

ENDA is sponsored in the House by Barney Frank (D-MA) and 198
cosponsors.  In the Senate, it is sponsored by Jeff Merkley (D-OR) and
45 cosponsors.

Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) predicts ENDA will be brought to the
House floor soon and there are enough votes to pass it.  Shari Rendall
of Concerned Women of America says the legislation "would overtly
discriminate against, and muzzle, people of faith."
