I recommended this to our club years ago, and y'all freaked out at the part where they look into a portal to Hell, and see the Popes there.  I tried to explain that this was a gratuitous anti-catholic insert by a Puritan of the Puritans which doesn't even fit with the rest of the book - but to no avail.  Here are some more Catholics who are able to look past that and see how Catholic the book is otherwise!  Ironically, Bunyan was being persecuted along with Catholics and for many of the same reasons.
