Congressman Mike Pence's political committee has hired a prominent
pollster and the former treasurer for Vice President Quayle.  These
moves signal that Pence may run for senator, governor, or even president
in 2012.

The latest Rasmussen poll suggests the GOP would likely win 55.6% to
44.4% if Congressional elections were held this week.  Of 20 statewide
polls, Republican candidates are ahead of Democratic candidates in 16 of
them.

Benefits:

8 of 9 national polls show strong opposition to Obamacare.  The average
for all of the polls is 38.7% for Obamacare, 50.8% opposed, and 10.5%
undecided.

Only the Gallup Poll found support for Obamacare, 49% to 46%.  But
Gallup still recorded overwhelming opposition from independents, 54% to
39% with 7% undecided.

The Fox News poll showed only 34% in favor of Obamacare, 57% against it,
and 9% undecided.  Only 17% of the people think the legislation will
reduce health care costs, but 57% believe the bill will increase costs,
according to Rasmussen Reports.

The Obama Administration is considering requiring religious
organizations that receive federal funding to remove all religious
symbols and pictures from their property.  A possible compromise would
require the symbols and pictures to be temporarily covered whenever a
federally funded activity is provided to the public.

ConservativeHQ.com's Richard Viguerie has long warned of the dangers of
the Faith Based Initiative.   He wrote that taking money from the
federal government would "make religious charities dependent on (and
loyal to) politicians and bureaucrats."

Congressman Barney Frank predicted that the House will pass legislation
to repeal the Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy regarding homosexuals serving
in the military.  He does not anticipate opposition from the Pentagon,
because the military leaders take orders from President Obama.
