Benefits:

99 members of the House and 20 in the Senate are sponsoring or
cosponsoring legislation to completely repeal Obamacare.  But in the
Alabama, one Republican and one Democrat who voted against Obamacare
lost badly in their primaries.

The GOP House leadership has recently introduced HR 5425, to repeal
Obamacare and replace it with an alternative health care bill.  But
Congressman Steve King, the sponsor of HR 4972, which has 88 cosponsors,
says conservatives "should be for 100% repeal."

Kathleen Patten, who worked with the legendary Art Linkletter at United
Seniors Association, has written a tribute to him in Newsmax.
Linkletter, who died recently at 97, "had a way about meeting someone
and making them feel like a friend."

The House voted 234-194 to allow open homosexuals to serve in the
military.  26 Democrats voted against this provision, only 5 Republicans
voted for it.

Elaine Donnelly, President of the Center for Military Readiness, thanked
Representatives Ike Skelton (D-MO) and Buck McKeon (R-CA) for their
valiant efforts in the House.  She also praised Senators John McCain
(R-AZ) and Roger Wicker (R-MS) for vowing to fight against this in the
Senate.

President Obama as designated June as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and
Transgender (LGBT) Pride Month.   The proclamation said homosexual
couples should be treated the same as any married couples and the
Defense of Marriage Act should be repealed.

More than 2,300 people are running for 471 House and Senate seats in the
upcoming elections--the highest number in at least 35 years.  The AP
writes, "Frustration, particularly on the right...appears to have
contributed to the surge."

A new poll finds that 46% of voters think the Tea Party movement is good
for the country, but 31% say it is bad for the nation.  70% of
Republicans have a positive opinion of the Tea Party, but 66% of
Democrats see the Tea Party negatively.

The Hill reports that Charlie Crist has complained that running for the
Senate in Florida as an independent is "very lonely."   Crist has found
that, since he quit the GOP, persons that he thought were his friends
have dropped him.

The latest state polls have Democrats ahead in 5 races, Republicans in
3, and an independent in 1.  Several of these races are extremely close
with only 1 or 2 percentage points separating the candidates.
