In Alabama, there is one diocese (Birmingham) and one archdiocese (Mobile).  Each with two Bishops.

The article does NOT mention the name or diocese of the Catholic bishop in Alabama who is supposed to be involved in this effort, so it may be a little hard to check.  However, I'll see what I can find out.
