Incorruptible — Why the Devil Uses Abortion to Eliminate Down Syndrome
January 24th, 2011 by Kurt Kondrich  Print This Article ·ShareThis
In the fictional novel The Clowns of God by Morris West, Jesus comes back to
earth, and some people think it’s Him while some don’t. At one point, Jesus is
at a school for children with Down syndrome, and He is holding a little girl.
Jesus says:
I know what you are thinking. You need a sign. What better one could I give but
to make this little one whole and new? I could do it, but I will not. I am the
Lord and not a conjurer. I gave this mite a gift I denied to all of you —
eternal innocence. To you she looks imperfect — but to me she is flawless, like
the bud that dies unopened or the fledgling that falls from the nest to be
devoured by ants. She will never offend me, as all of you have done. She will
never pervert or destroy the work of my Father’s hands. She is necessary to you.
She will evoke the kindness that will keep you human. Her infirmity will prompt
you to gratitude for your own good fortune… More! She will remind you every day
that I am who I am, that my ways are not yours, and that the smallest dust mite
whirled in the darkest spaces does not fall out of my hand… I have chosen you.
You have not chosen me. This little one is my sign to you. Treasure her!
Less than a week before my beautiful 7-year-old daughter Chloe — who has Down
syndrome — was born into this world, my wife had an ultrasound performed by the
head of radiology at a renowned hospital. We had no prenatal testing and knew we
were having a daughter. The head of radiology told us after the ultrasound that
our baby girl was small but she was “perfect.” A few days later, Chloe arrived
in this world, and the past 7 years have taught me that no truer words were
spoken than those by the radiologist.
The light, purity, innocence, and unconditional love that Chloe spreads each day
are things we should all be striving to embed in our lives as we journey through
this brief visit on earth (James 4:14: “What is your life? You are a mist that
appears for a little while and then vanishes”). The word that best describes
Chloe for me is “incorruptible,” and she is a priceless treasure.
After spending years on the streets as a Police Officer and witnessing how the
devil quickly invades and corrupts people, it is priceless to be in the presence
of a soul that cannot be compromised. This must make the devil absolutely
consumed with rage, and I believe that is why he is using the ungodly instrument
of abortion to eliminate these precious individuals before they arrive in the
world to spread unimpeded light and love. Nothing must make the devil madder
than an incorruptible soul especially when so many in the world have willingly
followed his path of lies and deception (Matthew 7:13-14: “Wide is the gate and
broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But
small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life and only a few find
it”).
Currently 90%+ children diagnosed prenatally with Down syndrome are terminated
before they can unleash their light upon this broken, corrupt world, and when we
leave this earth and stand in judgment, we will have wished we had the shining,
bright, perfect armor they possess. Let us pray that our culture of death wakes
up to this prenatal massacre of God’s most pure, innocent, and incorruptible
persons, and our lost, darkening world desperately needs the bright light they
bring!

Kurt Kondrich is the father of a beautiful daughter who has Down syndrome and
who has been a priceless blessing to his family and community. When Kurt became
aware of the higher than 90 percent abortion rate for children prenatally
diagnosed with Down syndrome, he literally could not sleep at night. In early
August 2008, he had a disturbing dream about people with disabilities being
exterminated and, after praying, he came up with the name SADSIN (Stop Aborting
Down Syndrome Individuals Now) for a web site to defend and protect children
with Down syndrome. He has since embarked on a mission to make sure people are
aware of this genocide. He wants people to see the beautiful faces of our kids
and realize the priceless blessings and gifts they are to a society that has
lost focus

Like a deer that longs for running waters so my soul longs for you, O God.
Ps 42:1
