Long ago, Nostradamus foresaw that on
06/05/2013 05:37 PM, DianneD would write:

           Fr. Boyle replied:

These things are actually easier than
people make them out to be it seems to me. I think it’s
always important to kind of say, ‘how does God see
sexual orientation.’ Does God feel like that same-sex
marriage could happen? I don’t think anybody who has a
connection to God and God’s understanding and depth of
compassion who’s gonna say no. And this is contrary to
                the party line.”

There is hope for Fr. Boyle, because he
        is actually dissenting
            - a true heretic motivated by a search for truth.  He apparently has never read, or dismissed a
long time ago, the written revelation of
what God thinks about sexual immorality.  (Not to mention 2000 years of Catholic
                    teaching.)

                  He
seems unclear on the concept of sin, thinking that sin is something
    only a "bad person" does:

“You cannot demonize people [whom] you know. It
obliterates that forever. So, that’s important in all these
issues, gay marriage, etc. All you need to know is the gay couple
who have kids, and that obliterates forever anybody’s inclination
      to say this is wrong."

rather than a poison that eats away at a good (although tainted)
person, gradually turning them into a bad person over time.

Once again, despite his training as a priest, he doesn't seem to
have really understood Catholic doctrine, and has rejected a parody
of Catholic doctrine (that should be rejected).
