The form is: "I baptize you in the name of the Father and of the Son and of
the holy Spirit." But we do not deny that true baptism is conferred by the
following words: "May this servant of Christ be baptized in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the holy Spirit;" or, "This person is baptized
by my hands in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy
Spirit."

I think that the words used in this case go further than acceptable
variation.
