[Apologetics] Father Matthew Schneider: Pope Francis’s Words on Civil Unions Distorted by Editing

I've been reading Father Schneider's articles and I don't totalling agree with him.
I prefer to side with a friend of mine who has his doctorate in moral theology from the Pontifical North American College in Rome and speak Italian fluently.

As well as Scott Hahn, Archbishop Vigano, several US bishops, and Cardinal Sarah.
It is my sincere prayer that everyone is wrong.  However, the "out of context" and misinterpretation/mistranslation excuse is getting old.  I'm sure he knows/has heard the news stories.  Why hasn't the Holy Father spoken out to correct these stories?
