I am writing this on behalf of our whole family.

I received the news of Mr. Gathmans passing with great sorrow and sadness
my late husband the Bishop Dr. Gérard Mpango and Mr Gathman were great
friends turned family. They met at Truro Church in Virginia and the Bishop
later invited him to visit our diocese of Western tanganyika in Tanzania
with his dear wife in the 90's.

We had the opportunity to say good bye to Mr gathman in 2019 while we were
touring the USA and we had a great and enjoyable time with him and ate a
lot of great food! He was very accommodating and gracious to us and we
enjoyed our stay.

On behalf of our family take this opportunity to send my condolences to Mr.
Gathmans family and friends. He was a humble man and loved God. We will
miss him dearly. May he Rest in peace and Rise in glory.
