As the Episcopal (American Anglican) Church became formally apostate (voting to renounce 6 of the 39 articles of Anglicanism), he talked about how Truro was more in alignment with Anglican churches in Africa than in America. He is now the Bishop of CANA (Convocation of Anglican Nigerians in America), and Truro is under the Nigerian Anglican.
