Dear Gathnetters,
It is a nice rainy day here in California. We really appreciate the rain
this year! This is a beautiful winter here. The hills are all a
brilliant green and the little creeks are running and “hopefully” the
underground aquifers are being filled up. On top of that my home network
and wireless network are running well….. all the way from the LaserJet
printer in the garage and the bedrooms on the Y wings of the house.

Of course I am very happy that most of the US were not taken in by the
fraud of Kerry. I can’t say the same for California of course. This
state is something. We even voted the do nothing Boxer back into the
senate. On top of that even though we are way in debt, we voted 6
billion more to do infant stem cell “research” which includes cloning
human embryos and then “harvesting them” for their research.

I guess one thing we learned from this election is that the Michael
Moores and Dan Rathers of the world are seen for what they are: liars
and cheats who are not to be trusted in anyway. I can’t understand how
the self-declared “intellectuals” of the left could be so very wrong in
their understanding of this country. I guess they just buried their
heads in the sand and ignored the family values of the majority of the
American people. I really hope that the democratic party would stop
listening to the far left wing radicals and turn to reasonable
candidates like Liebermann and Miller. I don’t like too much power to be
in the hands of one party but considering the alternative…. Kerry and
his ilk, I guess this is best. I really hope that the Democrats will see
that the real Americans have family values, believe in marriage between
one man and one woman and can see through their age old mantras of
taxing the rich etc. I think of the Bible verse that describes those who
consider themselves to be wise are made to be fools. How true!

Love to you all

Der Alt Grossvater
