STANDIN' IN THE NEED OF PRAYER  I just got off the phone with Marilyn.
Her cancer has returned as lung cancer and she has been in intense pain
for weeks. She has been in the hospital for three weeks, and the team of
doctors have finally found a combination of drugs to ease her pain. She
has had a tumor on a vertebrae that caused a stress fracture. Radiation
has shrunk that and relieved some of the pain. She now has to wear a body
brace for stability. She had been unable to take any pain medication for
weeks so the pain  has been almost intolerable. This has really hit them
hard and all the family is very stressed. Please pray for her--that she
will tolerate the pain medications, gain strength so that she can go home
and get on with her life. She has always had a wonderful positive
attitude, and that is the first step in healing.
Understandably, we feel like we have been punched in the stomach with
this news, but God is good and will give us all strength to pray, send
her cards, and let her know our love and concern. Aunt Grace
