Dear all,
I don't know how much you can see about what is
happening here.
We are seeing soldiers - men and women - weeping like
children as they enter the homes of the settlers to
escort them out, hugging them, giving the children a
little more time to say goodbye to their old rooms,
and taking the time to talk and to be with the
families at this most difficult time. They have been
trained for months for this difficult task and I must
say I feel that I am part of a truly unique nation.
Our army really deserves a special recognition for
this mission...
No matter what one's political opinion is, everyone
here is feeling the pain that these settlers are
enduring - having to leave their homes and their
dreams and even to take those they buried to be
reburied someplace else. I pray that they can rebuild
their lives and that all of this will lead us to a
better future.
love,
Judy
