[Gathnet] Still alive

Dear Gathnetters,
   I'm still alive.  Most of you know that I was working very hard at 
that musical, and dropped out from sight for a while.  I'm almost 
recuperated.

   Some of you have asked... "Where's the video".  I'm told that the DVD 
is being worked on, which is good news.  I've no idea of the quality, 
but some of you hopefully won't be picky. ;)

   I have been working on the score, finishing some things that didn't 
have a chance to be done quite the way we wanted, and getting ready to 
have it published.  As part of that, I plan to have the synthesized 
scores put on a CD, and I'll try to have that available to you all as 
well, as I sincerly doubt you'll be able to hear the music well on DVD. 
  This is because the chuch has been redoing the sanctuary, and all the 
wires and sound room, and everything else was gutted, and put into a new 
stage.  The stage wasn't quite up 2 weeks before performance.  As you 
can imagine, only the essentials for performance got done, so we didn't 
have any recording mics in the orchestra.

   It is possible we might do it again, in conjunction with promoting 
the musical in St. Louis, but I'm not sure about that yet.  In the 
meantime, I'll keep working on getting it out there.

   I really enjoyed this writing and orchestrating, and was pleased with 
the results.  (Since I'm pretty much a perfectionist musically, never 
satisfied with what I do, that's pretty good).  Frankly, God has been 
very good, to get us through to a performance given all the difficulties.
