[Gathnet] A gathnet note!!!!! believe it or not.

Dear Gathnetters,
It has been a long time since I wrote a note to you all on gathnet.  I am 
sorry.  I won't go through a whole list of excuses.

We here at Pilgrim Rest are enjoying this time of year with cold nights and 
cozy fires in the fireplace, Fresh off of the tree Navel oranges which are 
in abundance on our tree this year, and a dry but warm spring.  We are 
missing the rain but of course a side effect of the lack of rain is the lack 
of weeds to cut!

Tomaz and I have gotten most of the brush cleared from our property.  It has 
been a lot of work but the lack of fuel is a real insurance against fire at 
our place.

I have been upgrading the computer net at our house hold.   Mom now has a 
Toshiba Table computer and I have replaced the crashed disk on my oldest 
computer.  Oh for a high speed
internet connection.   Jon is now using a satellite system and I may have to 
do the same.

We have some good news about Kiefers scores from his first try at the SATs . 
   We are all very proud  of him and his mother who has home school him all 
of his 11 years!
