[Gathnet] Anne broke her leg this morning.

Dear Gathnetters,
This is just a note to let you all know that Anne had a major injury 
this morning.  She go it by going quickly from the shower to the toilet 
and in the process slipped on the floor and broke both bones in the 
lower right leg.   Beth helped me get her to the hospital by wheeling 
her to the car in my office chair and then very gingerly loading her in 
the back seat of the car.   We got her to the emergency room in good 
time and they were all ready to take her in.  After xrays they 
determined the extent of the break and right after noon, the head of 
orthopedic medicine at Grossmont hospital came by and determined that in 
this case it would better to try a cast.   She is staying overnight at 
the hospital and hopefully will be ready to come home tomorrow.   The 
Dr. says 4 or 5 months to recovery and has not crossout the possibility 
of surgery on the leg.
