Christmas Greetings 2007!!
Time flies and it is time to remember the reason for the season.  I hope that you all have had time to reflect and attend your church program as well.  Our daughter and family participate in their Christmas program each year.  We all get to listen.

All of the kids will be home for Christmas providing the weather cooperates.  By the way we missed getting a lot of ice.  What we did get was rain during the afternoon while the temp was above freezing.  What ice that was on the trees just kept falling off, it was quite pretty seeing the ice all over the yard.   
      We have had a challenging year taking Norman off Hemodialysis and starting him on peritoneal dialysis, which is home dialysis (this is done every night).  It is 6 months this December since we began. That means that he is hooked up at night and the cycler works doing three fills, three dwells and three drains, alternating.  When that is complete the cycler shuts off after working 5 or 6 hours and we disconnect in the morning.   He has had various issues however the cycler isn't one it operates just fine & is very convenient.
      One nice thing about using the cycler is that it allows us to venture out.  We have taken it along with all the supplies we need plus the solution needed and traveled to St Louis.  Because we did that we got to see Lauren 12 & Eliott 9 act in a play called Charlotte's Web and the last time we got to spend Thanksgiving with the kids at Jacqui's.
These have been three or four days stays, I'm not sure if we're up to staying any longer
 than that.   I'd like to go to Ariz but wow that will take relative good health and a lot of planning.  We both have relatives there.  
      The grandkids spent four days with us in August.  Matt (he will be going on another medical mission as the pharmacist) was home and helped keep them active.  

 Matt took them to a park in Spfd.  The picture on the left shows them all crowded into a spaceship, aren't they just the cutest???  Wel-l-l, I'll give you an edge on that!! You may please send us some pictures, no grandkids then how about a picture of your family.  Valerie also joined us to celebrate Eliott's 9th birthday. Thanks Gary & Pookie for the kids' picture!!!
 This is a time when we want to tell the special people, family and friends, in our lives just how fondly they are remembered and loved forever and always. May the very best come to you  in the new year.   Merry Christmas from Norman & Roberta
